Mexico climbed one notch and was placed in seventh position within the Emerging Markets Logistics Index 2021, a classification that annually measures the conditions for the actors involved in the supply chain of companies in 50 countries, prepared by Agility, supplier of logistics services specialized in developing markets.
This year Mexico obtained a rating of 5.91 points, from 5.67 points in the ranking of last year.
In addition, just over a year after the appearance of COVID-19 and the extensive effects on economies globally, the Mexican government has been reluctant to allocate economic stimuli and has rather boosted public spending, without being willing to assume an additional public debt.
