The start-up of Ford’s new manufacturing company, Mercedes Benz in Mexico, as well as the demand from the United States and Germany, stimulated the production and exports of the Mexican automotive industry during November, which added two consecutive months of growth.
The production of light vehicles in Mexico reached 312,184 cars compared to 307,756 units in the eleventh month of 2019, which represents incipient growth of 1.44%, reported the National Institute of Geography and Statistics (INEGI).
Mexico has exported 2 million 406,725 cars from the period January to November 2020, which represents a drop of 23.6%, against 3 million 151,457 units during the eleven months of 2019.
