Fernando Liesa, general secretary of ALICE, analyzed, during the course of the Propeller Valencia webinar, held on Thursday, February 4, the main challenges facing both the transport sector and the supply chain, which are , in Liesa’s opinion, for issues such as reducing its impact on the environment, eliminating single-use containers or knowing how to react to changes and be more resistant to adversity, among other aspects.
Likewise, he dedicated a good part of his speech to highlighting the role that the “physical Internet” (fully interconnected logistics) can play in achieving agile, efficient and resilient supply chains.
Liesa pointed out that now is when “we have to consider where to find the opportunities and see what we can do to be prepared for when the sun rises.”
