The logistics industry: one of the least affected during the pandemic.

The logistics industry, which includes the storage, transport and distribution of goods, was one of the sectors least affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, as it even had a rebound in investment derived from the needs of consumers.

Data from the Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks indicate that due to the expansion of electronic commerce as a result of the health contingency, industrial logistics centers will grow, as is the case of Monterrey, whose demand has increased 48%.

Within the logistics industry, the big winner has been electronic commerce, which grew 500 percent in the country, a figure that stands out from other countries such as Colombia, where the figure represents 100 percent.

International Data Corporation foresees that by the end of this year or early 2021 the economic recovery will begin to be seen, which will accelerate digitization, which will lead to improved e-commerce.
