In Nuevo León, the potential monthly risk from Coronavirus to SMEs ranges in 15 million dollars.
Mainly affecting small and medium-sized companies linked to Asian countries and smaller are those that experience the greatest damage from this disruption of global value chains.
For Nuevo León, the total amount generated by international trade with these countries is 10 billion dollars a year, while as a country, Caintra’s estimates reveal that for every day that the value chain with Asian countries such as China, Japan or South Korea, if interrupted, the added value of Mexican exports is affected by four million dollars, the industrial body said.
